Futurity French Command is without a doubt the cornerstone of the Cabot breeding program. Purchased when he was a four year old, French has consistently sired foals that are beautiful and athletic, as well as “good thinkers.” He is currently reigning as the Number One Overall Stallion in the 2004 Sire Ratings and also topped the English Pleasure and Pleasure Driving divisions. With offspring that are competitive in all disciplines, in 2004 his get garnered World titles in both pleasure driving and saddle classes: Medomak French Invasion was the Open Pleasure Driving World Champion; Can’t You See MEM was both the Amateur and Ladies Pleasure Driving World Champion; MEM The Patriot was the Two Year Old Pleasure Driving World Champion and the World Futurity Two Year Old Pleasure Driving Champion while Patriot’s full brother MEM Say My Name was the Reserve Two Year Old Pleasure Driving Champion. His saddle winners were equally brilliant, in both English and Western Classes, with Nicoria, Amateur English Pleasure World Champion, Cabot French Pepper, Jr. Ex. English Pleasure 13 & Under World Champion, and Jane Doe MEM winning the Reserve Grand National Champion Ladies and English Pleasure Mare. French’s Western winners included Pondview Picante, the Reserve World Ladies Western Pleasure Champion while Cabot French Lieutenant and KN Commandate also claimed Grand National titles. In the Park division, MEM Heart and Soul was the Reserve Grand National Four Year Old Park Saddle Champion and CN Stylish Debut was the Reserve Grand National Champion Ladies Park Saddle Gelding. MEM Reality Check was the Grand National Champion Four Year Old Gelding while Tomeri Tiamo and Med E Oka French Morocco were Grand National title winners in the Classic Pleasure Driving and Saddle classes, respectively. In addition to World Champions, French has sired many Regional winners who also reflect the diversity and versatility of his offspring.
